New City Nonprofits is a shared online home for two registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations working together to support children, families, and communities through housing stability, education, and essential services.

Our Organizations

New City Family Services

New City Family Services focuses on programs that support children and families through education, wellness, and access to essential resources. Our work includes family support initiatives, educational materials, and community-based programs designed to promote stability, growth, and resilience.

New City Housing

New City Housing works to expand access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for individuals and families in underserved communities. We believe that housing stability is a cornerstone of family well-being and long-term success.

Our Approach

Educational Resources

As part of our mission, New City Family Services supports educational materials that help children and families navigate life’s challenges. This includes Ride the Wave, a children’s book that uses a simple surfing metaphor to remind kids that life comes in waves, setbacks happen, and learning to get back up is part of enjoying the ride.

These resources are used by families, educators, and community organizations to spark conversation, reflection, and connection.
